Start with the networking job.
For a small meetup, the job may be helping newcomers find one relevant person. At a conference, it may be navigating a busy room without losing useful contacts. For a recurring builder group, it may be keeping connections accessible across gatherings.
Linx supports this discovery-to-connection loop through event-scoped profiles, Discover, Directory, saves and mutual matches. It does not sell tickets, schedule appointments or replace your registration process. Choose it when attendee networking is the gap in your existing event setup.

Questions to ask before choosing a platform.
How do attendees find relevant people? Test profile quality, search, filters and matching against the audience at your event, rather than relying on a generic attendee list.
How much effort does joining take? Try the full sign-in, profile and event-join journey on a phone. Linx works in a browser, with optional home-screen installation.
Who can see contact information? Ask whether emails are public, exported or shared only with consent. Linx keeps contact details behind mutual-match and member-sharing rules.
Which features are included in the price? Compare attendee capacity, private access, branding, resources and shared photos. Do not assume every feature is included on Free.
What is missing from your operational workflow? Check ticketing, meeting calendars, free-form chat, integrations and organizer reporting separately. Do not assume a networking app provides them.
How will you judge the pilot? Choose a measurable goal before the event, such as mutual connections made and attendee feedback on whether they met someone useful. These are evaluation suggestions, not claimed Linx results.
Linx features, with their actual limits.
Core networking includes a profile, ranked Discover, searchable Directory, Saved and Matched views, and predefined Quick Connect signals for mutual matches. People browse within their selected event. Saved and mutual connections can remain accessible across events under the app's privacy rules.
Starter adds private access codes, custom event branding and up to five resources. Growth adds a shared Feed and Photo Gallery, slideshow and co-hosts. Free does not include those extensions. Compare the current plan table for capacity and feature details.

For meetups and recurring groups.
If your first event has 25 attendees or fewer, the Free plan gives you a public networking pilot without needing a paid extension. Request the event, wait for approval and share its join link. Give people a reason to complete their profile, such as finding someone who shares their goal.
For recurring gatherings, attendees can reuse their profile rather than create a separate identity each time. Linx also supports ongoing communities, but community setup is currently managed by admins. The public hosting form submits events, not communities.
Understand the purchase before you commit.
Linx lists per-event prices and attendee capacities rather than a per-user monthly subscription. Paid checkout is not connected yet, so a published price is not a completed purchase or an automatically activated entitlement.
Start with an event request and use the pricing page to identify the required plan. Arrange any paid capacity or private access before your event needs it. If your event requires ticketing, automated meeting booking or free-form messaging, include another tool or evaluate a broader event platform.
Questions.
- Is Linx an event management platform?
- Linx focuses on attendee networking and event-scoped content. It does not replace ticket sales, registration, check-in or a full conference scheduling system.
- Does Linx include AI matchmaking?
- Discover ranks attendees using shared profile information such as role, technologies and goals. Linx does not claim an AI matchmaking engine. Its optional AI assistant connection is a separate, read-only way to access saved mutual connections.
- Is a save the same as a connection?
- No. A save records your interest. A mutual match happens only when both people save each other. Quick Connect is available between mutual matches.
- Can I pay for an upgrade online now?
- Not yet. Current prices and features are listed on Pricing, but paid checkout is not connected. An event request begins on Free and remains subject to review and plan limits.
