Terms and Privacy

The short, plain version. Last updated October 29, 2026.

What Linx is.

Linx is a networking app for in-person events. Organizers host events, and attendees use Linx to find, match and keep in touch with the people they meet. Linx is owned and operated by EZDISPLAY AI, and you can reach the team behind it at support@ezdisplayai.com.

We keep improving it, so features may change over time.

Your account and profile.

You provide your name, photo, title, bio, links, and other profile details so other attendees at your event can find and connect with you. Keep your information accurate, and do not post anything unlawful, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.

Other signed-in attendees at your event can see your profile, your posts in the event Feed, and the photos you share. Your contact details are only ever shared between mutual matches, and only if you turn that sharing on.

What we collect and why.

Here is exactly what Linx collects, and what it is used for:

  • Your sign-in email, so you can log in and reset your password.
  • Your name, photo, title and bio, so other attendees can recognize and find you.
  • Optional social links like LinkedIn, X, GitHub, YouTube, Substack and your website, so people can reach you elsewhere. Links are optional, and you choose which ones to add.
  • Your role, experience, technologies and goals, used to suggest good matches.
  • Who you saved or passed, and your matches, so your connections stay with you.
  • Which events you joined and when you last opened one, so we know where to show your network.
  • Posts and photos you share in an event Feed, and the people you tag in them.
  • Quick Connect signals you send or receive, so we can tell you who reached out.
  • Phone alert settings for your devices, only if you turn push alerts on. This includes the device registration we need to deliver the alert.
  • Wrong access code attempts, used to stop code guessing and automatically cleaned up once they are older than 24 hours.

Profiles are only visible to people at an event you share, or people you have connected with. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it.

We keep your profile and connection history while your account exists, so your matches survive between events. An automatic cleanup runs hourly to delete wrong access code attempts older than 24 hours, so they are normally removed within 25 hours. Device alert registrations are removed when you turn alerts off or sign out on that device. When you delete your account, your data goes with it, as described below.

Connecting your AI assistant.

Linx offers a read-only connection, so you can let your own AI assistant look up the people you already connected with. Here is what that means:

  • The assistant can only see people who are both saved by you and matched with you mutually. Nothing else. No full attendee lists, no messages, no event details.
  • It can never write anything: no saves, no posts, no profile changes.
  • Every request re-checks your current connections. If you unsave someone or a match is revoked, the assistant loses access to that person immediately, on its very next request.
  • To disconnect, remove Linx from your AI assistant's connected apps or connected accounts settings. Your matches inside Linx are not affected in any way.

Deleting your account.

You can delete your account yourself at any time from Profile, then Settings, then Delete my account. This permanently removes your profile, photo, email, saves, matches, posts, photos, alerts and event history. If you need help, email us at support@ezdisplayai.com and we will take care of it.

Beta status.

Linx is an ongoing product in beta, provided as is, without warranties. Features may change. EZDISPLAY AI will give you notice by email before any major change or shutdown. Before a shutdown, you will have a chance to export or delete your data first.

Conduct.

Be respectful. Organizers can hide, block, or remove accounts that abuse the app or other attendees. Active users who have completed their profile are automatically verified after five mutual matches. Linx administrators can also grant or remove verification badges. Event organizers cannot grant badges unless they are also Linx administrators. A badge does not mean we have checked someone's identity.

Questions.

Questions about these terms or your data, privacy requests, or anything else? Email EZDISPLAY AI at support@ezdisplayai.com and a human will get back to you.
